Joel Leroy Vanover, 84 of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 in the Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Born in Jenkins, KY, on October 17, 1933, he was the son of the late Edwin and Pearl (King) Vanover. He served his country proudly during Korean Conflict in the Army, 187th Air Borne, earning several medals, including the Korean Service Medal w/4 Bronze Stars for his bravery. Mr. Vanover retired from DuPont after 38 years of service as an Engineer. He was a Master Mason with the Clarksboro, NJ Lodge #87, a life member of VFW Post 6027, North East, MD, and a life member of DAV. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and sports. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed watching his sons and grandchildren in all of their activities. Survivors include his loving wife: Bonny Virginia (Lambert) Vanover; three sons: Christopher J. Vanover (Laura) of North East, MD, Andrew L. Vanover (Kelly) of Elkton, MD and Mark E. Vanover (Mary) of Londonderry, NH; and 4 grandchildren: Michael C. Vanover, Jeffrey T. Vanover, Chloe E. Vanover and Kruze D. Kornegay. Ronald Warburton “Ronnie” Dean, III, 28 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, February 2, 2018. Born in Baltimore, MD, on September 23, 1989, he was a laborer, employed by Ruppert Landscaping, Bel Air, MD. He enjoyed music, working out and his many friends. Ronnie is survived by his daughter: Kayden Lynn Cooper; parents: Ronald W. Jr. and Sandra Jean (Stout) Dean of Elkton, MD; grandmother: Elizabeth Diebold of Elkton, MD; aunts: Carolyn Dean Cleary, Sherri Dean King both of Elkton, MD; and Kathy Stout of Tolchester, MD. Daniel Michael Carducci of Port Deposit died at home Wednesday, January 31, 2018. He was 17. He was born October 30, 2000 in Naples, Florida, son of Daniel C. and Stephanie M. Carducci. Daniel lived in Port Deposit since 2001. Known as a fun-loving, unselfish kid, Daniel loved playing baseball and carried high regard and respect for those who coached and played alongside him. He also showed great respect for his teachers. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Lauren R. Carducci and her longtime companion Dane T. Smith and other family members. |
