Richard “Rick” Harvey Keyes, III, 18 of North East, MD, died suddenly on Thursday, December 31, 2015 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. He was born in Bellefontaine, OH, on December 28, 1997. Rick worked in a salvage yard. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and four wheelers. He is survived by his mother: Trish Keyes of Elkton, MD; his father: Richard H. Keyes, Jr., of Bel Air, MD; one sister: Kristina Beegley of Edgewood, MD and one brother: Josh Brewster of Bel Air, MD; his girlfriend: Summer Eastridge of North East, MD; maternal grandmother: Joyce Ann Cather of Aberdeen, MD; maternal grandfather: Phillip Wilcoxon of OH; paternal grandmother: Mary Rector (Hank) of Bel Air, MD; two aunts, one uncle and several cousins. Josephine Wyatt, age 72, of Colora, MD, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. She was born on November 23, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Homer and Mattie Dowell Brown. She was a homemaker who loved and cared for her husband, children and grandchildren. With an infectious smile and brilliant blue eyes, she made all feel welcome at her house, and no one was a stranger. Josephine enjoyed having parties and gatherings at her home for family and friends. She was devoted to her family and to God. She also enjoyed road trips, especially to the mountains. The Shenandoah and the Blue Ridge were her favorites. Stephen R. "Pat" Patrick, 63, of Bellmead, Texas died on Tuesday, Dec. 29. 2015. He was born November 24, 1952 in Lynchburg, Virginia to William Wilburn and Jean Elizabeth (Alexander) Patrick. Mr. Patrick graduated from Oxford Area High School in 1971. He joined the Air Force and retired after 20 years of service. He met Diane Moehle in Topeka, Kansas and they married November 14, 1975. Mr. Patrick then worked as a fireman at Chrysler Technologies for many years. He joined the Bellmead Fire Department on November 3, 1992, where he served as Assistant Fire Chief. He received the W. A. Neel Memorial Award for Firefighter Of The Year in 2002. Wilbur Blakeley of Rising Sun died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center. He was 85. He was born in the Churchville area of Harford County on May 14, 1930 to the late Oliver and Elsie Currie Blakeley. Mr. Blakeley lived in Cecil County most of his life, and was employed by the late Ellis and Mildred Ayers, where he retired as a dairy farmer at the age of 70. He was a member of the Blythedale Seventh Day Adventist Church, Perryville, where he served as a deacon. |
