Just over a month after it was placed in service for the first time, officials in Perryville have announced that the town Band Shell is for rent.
The Band Shell, in Lower Ferry Park, is approximately 40 foot long and 20 feet deep. The Perryville High School Band members were the first to perform in the venue for the town Christmas party last month. Now it is for rent when it's not being used for town events. The cost to rent the band shell is $150 per day and that covers use between the hours of 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Contact town hall if interested. Rental fees will help offset the cost of maintaining the band shell.
Suggested uses are a community or school play, concerts, talent shows and more.
