Their minds were working.
Children from around the area came to the Elkton Library to learn about different simple machines that have been used for many years.
The simple machines they learned about were a lever, incline plane, wedge, and others.
"It was great way for them (the children) to learn more about the machines and learn more about science," said Elkton parent Jen Little.
Not only did the children learn about how each machine worked but they also used their minds to think of solutions for how to make each machine work more efficiently.
