The North East Chamber of Commerce has made it a whole lot easier to find your way around the town.
The 2016 - 2017 Strolling Guide was recently released.
The guide provides both residents and visitors with a brief history of the town. It also caters to those who arrive by sea and by land.
The vertical guide is a not to scale map. It provides hotels and accommodations along the I-95 corridor and in the area of Cecil College. Charlestown businesses are also mentioned.
Restaurants, stores, banks, churches, and services such as the North East Police Department and town hall are listed. There are also listings for kayak rentals, boat charters, North East Community Park, and historic sites. There are also numbers to call in case of emergency.
The guide also features the VFW Post, Turkey Point Lighthouse, Rodney Scout Reservation, insurance companies, realtors and more.
Those who enjoy the strolling guide or who want more information are encouraged to go online to www.northeastchamber.org or Main St North East on facebook. The Strolling Guides are available at North East area businesses.
