Crews from Hunt Valley Construction were out in Perryville Park recently putting in what's sure to be a crowd pleaser.
The workers are installing an American Disabilities Act compliant playground set which replaces older equipment. The new equipment costs $212,092 and is being funded by the town. Since the playground is next to ballfields, it has a baseball theme.
The new equipment features swings, sliding boards, baby swings, and plenty of equipment for climbing. Specifically, there is a cozy dome, spinner, oodle swing, hemisphere climber, four-person see saw called a We Saw, saddle spinner, jungle jim, tic tac toe game, grab bar, resting deck, and more.
"I'm very excited. It's going to a be a great addition to the town park," said Perryville town administrator Denise Breder.
