The Elkton Police Department has identified a suspect in the murder on Gooseneck Court Monday, October 12.
Police say Nikel Shyheim "Nike" Hicks, 21, is suspected of committing the homicide. Hicks is an African-American male who is 5-11 and 185 pounds, police said.
Hicks may still be armed and should be considered armed and dangerous. A warrant is on file with extradition.
Hicks is suspected of killing Gregory Sammons-Burris, 23, at 1:42 a.m. Monday is the 100 block of Gooseneck Court.
