Four baking contests return to the Solanco Fair in 2018 – Apple Pie, Angel Food Cake, Chocolate Cake and the youth only Cookies, Brownies and Bars competition. All are open to any Pennsylvania resident.
The Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Contest requires at least 60 percent of the pie filling to be apples and it is sponsored by the PA State Association of County Fairs (PSACF).
