Solanco coach Meghan Cross saw some positive signs in her team's 25-19, 25-12, 25-17 loss to visiting Lancaster Catholic Monday night, September 9.
"We scored a lot more points as a whole," Cross said. "We made some improvements on our coverage and we had a lot of play at the net which are two things we really focused on at the end of last week after our matches."
Nathaly Molinarez led the Mules with five kills and Jada Dow added three. Emma Canale contributed five blocks and Anya Fisher chipped in two. Molinarez led Solanco with nine digs and Madi Davis and Alondra Quinonez each added five. Davis dished out seven assists.
"We're still working on the passing," said Cross. "A lot of it is positioning and confidence. We've got to keep confidence in ourselves. Volleyball is a mental game."
