Jason Mock continued his torrid hitting as the Rising Sun Little League Major Division All-Stars advanced to the district championship round with a 12-3 triumph over Elkton Monday night at Eder Park. Rising Sun waits for a team to emerge from the losers bracket and will get its first chance to clinch the District 5 title Friday night at 7.
Mock homered, doubled, and had an infield hit and knocked in four runs against Elkton. In two tournament games he is 7 for 8 with three home runs and 12 RBIs. He also threw out two Elkton baserunners Monday. Rising Sun jumped on top with five runs in the first.
