The Elks fumbled on the Bo Manor one-yard-line on their next drive before upping the advantage to 14-0 on a five-yard scamper by Raiquon Estep with 5:15 left in the first quarter.
Eagles quarterback Ryan Connelley scored on a one-yard plunge to narrow the gap to 14-7. Elkton answered when Estep galloped 16 yards for a TD to make it 21-7. Bohemia Manor started the third quarter with a Devin Gatewood one-yard-run set up by a 53-yard strike from Connelley to Cameron Garcia. Elkton countered quickly to extend its lead back to 14 on a 39-yard scoring scamper by Tashawn Watters. Bo Manor came right back with a 74-yard TD pass from Connelley to a wide open Garcia. The extra point was blocked leaving the Elks with a 28-20 edge. With five minutes to go in the third quarter, Johnson connected with Dah'mear Triplett on a 69-yard touchdown pass.
