The Southern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Christmas tree lighting on Friday evening, December 7.
The program will begin at 6 p.m. and will include an ornament decorating station, free candy canes, hot chocolate, cider, and coffee.
The Solanco High School Chorale and Brass Ensemble, the Smith Middle School Singers, and the Lampeter-Strasburg Madrigals will perform during the evening.
Each year, the evergreen gets a bit taller and a bit wider.
Each year, members of the Southern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce add another string or two of lights to cover their growing Christmas tree.
The chamber revived the community Christmas tree six years ago.
