Solanco’s student actors will bring Arthur Miller’s classic Death of Salesman to the Solanco High School stage this week.
The students say this popular play features a full range of human emotion and experiences.
The Pajama Game, a musical comedy, will be presented March 10, 11, and 12 at Solanco High School.
Directed by Jennifer Pasko and Erin Brubaker, the story begins in the Sleep Tite Pajama Factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It is 1954 and the workers are protesting for a seven-and-a-half cent raise.
Getting from point A to point B can be easy. Students can walk, ride skateboards, peddle a bike, or drive.
Or they can pick the difficult route, putting together a machine that uses spoked wheels and is driven by a battery-powered drill.
That machine, if it works as planned, will take team members to Millersville, a state competition, and the world championship.
The national contest is the ultimate destination for successful Odyssey of the Mind teams.
