Mikeala Evelyn “Millie” Wagner, 18, of Quarryville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of Jeffrey and Tracy (Tome) Wagner of Quarryville. Millie was looking forward to graduating with Solanco High School’s class of 2015. She will receive her diploma posthumously during graduation. Millie was a long-time member and treasurer of the FFA. Millie was very patriotic and had a dream of opening an animal shelter to care for the pets of military service men and women who serve oversees. She was a competitive horseback rider and jumper. Millie worked at After the Races, a thoroughbred re-homing and rehabilitation service in Nottingham. She loved animals, especially her Chocolate Lab “Bennett”. She loved the Lord and was an active member of Wrightsdale Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Millie is survived by a brother, Bradlee and two sisters: Makenzie and Bailee-Mae all at home. Also surviving is her maternal grandmother, Marsha Worthington of Quarryville; paternal grandparents, Kim, husband of Anna Mary Wagner of Little Britain; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
