William O. Mingle, 84, passed away on June 12, 2017 at his residence in New Providence. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Joy (Riddell) Mingle. Bill was born in Akron, Ohio, son of William Cronemiller Mingle and Flossie Lydia (Stover) Mingle. He attended Franklin and Marshall College for two years then Temple University School of Pharmacy receiving his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1955. He owned his own pharmacy store in Birmingham Township, PA. Bill and Joy Mingle started their family in Springfield (Delco), PA. After residing there for thirty years, Bill retired in 1986. He and Joy purchased and renovated a 150-year old farmhouse in Nottingham, Lancaster County. Bill served on the Little Britain Township planning committee for five years. Bill and Joy spent thirty wonderful years entertaining family and friends at their beautiful home and and watching their family grow. In addition to his wife Joy, Bill is survived by his son Jeffrey (late wife Laura) of Upper Darby, PA; Joy and her husband Tom Wolven of Lewes, DE; and John and his wife Sherri of Brentwood, PA, and his seven grandchildren - Sara Mingle, Thera Wolven, Eric Wolven, Brandon Wolven, Emily Wolven Barefoot and her husband Sean, Nathan Mingle, and Evan Mingle. Bill is also survived by two beautiful great-grandchildren.
