Julia A. Bradley, 85, of New Providence, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Rineer) Trout. She was the loving wife of Richard H. Bradley for 66 years. Julia was a retired hairdresser. She was a member of the former St. Paul’s Church in Quarryville and the Robert Fulton Chapter # 446 Order of the Eastern Star. Julia was so loving, loyal and hardworking; with a great sense of humor that always left you with a smile on your face. She leaves behind many fond memories. She was known for taking care of everyone around her because she loved people and wanted everyone to be happy. First and foremost, she was a wonderful mother. My brother and I were so blessed that she was ours. In addition to her husband, Julia is survived by a daughter, Kim Bradley (Jim) Eshleman and a son, R. Keith Bradley, who preceded her in death. Also surviving is a daughter in law, Cathy Albright; grandsons, Mark E. Bradley (Amy), and Kevin D. Bradley (Theresa); 3 great granddaughters, Annabelle, Harper, and MacKenzie; and a sister, Deb Mellinger Herr (Donald).
She was also preceded in death by a step granddaughter, Jessica Eshleman and a great granddaughter, Olivia. In keeping with Julia’s wishes, there will be a private graveside service in the Quarryville Cemetery. Julia would like everyone to honor her memory with an act of kindness toward someone. Memorial contributions may be made to the Quarryville Library, 357 Buck Rd., Quarryville, PA 17566. Arrangements entrusted to Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Quarryville.
