Judy A. Sharpe, 69, of Lancaster, was welcomed into her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, while surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Stanley C. Sharpe, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Benson, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Theron Hucutt Austin and Melva Lee (Jacobs) Taylor. Judy graduated from Benson High School, class of 1967. She then went on to find employment in the banking industry in various positions for 40 years, most recently as branch manager of Jonestown Bank and Trust in Cleona, PA. Judy excelled at her job and many customers followed her from bank to bank. She enjoyed decorating, shopping with her daughters, golfing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Judy loved the Lord and she attended Grace Community Church of Willow Street. She was a true sweetheart, and family and friends had no doubt that she sincerely loved and cared about them. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Alisa Robertson, and husband Craig, of Quarryville, and Melissa Wager, and husband Steve, of State College; stepson, Nathan Sharpe, of Lancaster; stepdaughters, Carolyn Ali, and husband Weli, of Lancaster, and Allyson Reinhart, and husband Adam Frey, of Mt. Nebo; grandchildren, Sydney, Gavin, Maxwell, and Brady; step grandchildren, Ethan, Zachary, Dylan, Chloe, Sophi, Grace, and Audrey; and her faithful canine companion, Bailey.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Grace Community Church of Willow Street, 212 Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street, PA, with a time of visitation from 9:00 to 10:15. Interment will immediately follow the service at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
