Elizabeth Hiryok, of Cranberry Twp., PA, died very unexpectedly on January 4, 2024, at age 53. Born in Manhasset, New York, she was the daughter of Richard and Sally (Whitenack) Walton of Quarryville. She was raised in Quarryville and graduated from Solanco High School, and Bloomsburg University. Most recently she worked as Cultural Director at two Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Cranberry Township area. Elizabeth was an upbeat and positive woman who was driven to help others. She was always levelheaded, a long-range planner, focused, and easy going. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Her two sons were her top priority. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Hiryok; her children, Kaden, and Kameron; her brother, Gregory Walton and his significant other, Karen of Willow Street; and her sister, Judy Shaffer and her husband, Matt of West Willow; her four nephews; as well as her parents.
A friends and family Celebration of Life gathering was held on January 11 in the Cranberry Township area, at Grace Community Church. Over 200 relatives and friends attended – from Canada, Cayman Islands, California, Florida, and many other states. During her life, Beth was continually reaching out to others to assist them through their own tough times. Her assistance to others, and her loves, causes and dreams will be remembered and furthered by a Charitable Foundation, “Beth’s Legacy”, which has been established in her honor. Comments are closed.
