Clarence C. McClucas, 95, of Quarryville, passed away at home on Monday, January 18, 2016. He was the husband of the late Ethel L. (Blair) McClucas. Born in Elton, Cambia County, PA, he was the son of the late Mary (Rininger) and Joseph McClucas. Clarence served in the U.S. Army and retired from Walter and Jackson lumber yard. He enjoyed antique cars and going to car shows in Hershey and Carlisle. He also loved family gatherings. He is survived by 7 daughters and 6 sons: Mary Lou Anderson, Camp Hill; Elmer McClucas, Highspire; Donna Spangler, Conestoga; Wilma Howell, East Petersburg; Virginia Cochran, Nottingham; Violet Mendez, Willow Street; Calvin McClucas, Columbia; Donald McClucas, Leola; David McClucas, Duncannon; Tina Bare, Peach Bottom; William McClucas, Willow Street; Kimberly Walker, Quarryville; Dennis McClucas, Washington Boro; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. His son Carl Wayne, two sisters, Sophia and Mae and three brothers: George, Albert, and Arthur preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will take place at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, 75 Mt. Hope Road, Quarryville on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Miller officiating. There will be a viewing at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
