Donna R. Smith, 58, of Nottingham, PA passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Jennersville Regional Hospital, West Grove. She was the wife of Steven V. Smith with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Laverne and Darlene Trivitt Barlow. Donna was employed with Pocopson Home and Kendal Crosslands as a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for her children. Donna was a devoted mother and loved her children. Elnora I. "Cookie" Smith, 60, of York, entered into rest unexpectedly on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Little Britain Township. Born in York County, she was the daughter of Otis Brown and Nora (Mortorff) Acker. She was the companion of Ralph J. Jamison for over 32 years. Cookie had attended Solanco High School. She was known for her wonderful cooking. She also loved to listen to music, dance, and spend time with her family. Diane M. Vincent, age 67, of Nottingham, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Mark S. Vincent with whom she celebrated 43 years of marriage. She was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Emil and Rita Mangan Studinski. She was a member of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Diane graduated from Saint Francis School of Nursing in 1975 and was a Registered Nurse for 40 years. She enjoyed baking, gardening and most of all spending time with her family. Elizabeth Anne Edwards Steinberg, affectionately known as Anne or Libby Anne, age 94, entered into eternal life on Friday, October 2, 2020. Born on August 15, 1926 in Quarryville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Cox and Adaline Paxson Edwards. She and her late husband, Howard Steinberg, were married on September 6, 1947 at Penn Hill Friends Meeting House, Wakefield, PA, and they spent 67 wonderful years together. Anne is survived by two sons, Richard H. (Susan B.) Stuart and Roger T. Steinberg (Barbra Riley); 5 grandchildren, Julie Christine Lowery, Brianna Lee Parish, Clay (Carol W.) Stuart, Andrew E. (Jayme H.) Stuart, and Kaitlin R. Steinberg; 8 great grandchildren, Ryan Lowery, Austin Lowery, Ethan Stuart, Chloe Stuart, Eliana Stuart, Jackson Stuart, Nora Stuart, and Adam Stuart. Judith Priscilla Hamlin, age 77, passed away at the Green Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Malvern, on her birthday, Friday, October 2, 2020. She was married to Jack C. Hamlin, Jr. for 35 years before his death in 2018. She was born in Atglen, daughter of the late Elmer J. & Ruth Stoltzfus Kauffman. She graduated from Octorara High School in 1961. She was a homemaker and had also worked for Turkey Hill Markets. She had a love for cats and also enjoyed painting pictures for her family. In the past, she had attended the Jennersville Church of the Brethren. Judith B. McClune, 76, died Friday October 2, 2020 at Conestoga View where she resided since May of 2018. She had previously resided at Oak Leaf Manor-South from 2014 until moving to Conestoga View. She was the wife of the late C. Bud McClune who died November 11, 2013. Born in Millersville, she was the daughter of the late William Louis and Myrtle Gantz Braas. Mabel E. Gebhart, 94, of Truce Road, Quarryville, PA died at her residence on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. She and her husband John K. Gebhart celebrated 65 years of marriage. Born in Providence Township, she was the daughter of the late Carl G. and Emma Marie Doulin Aukamp. A homemaker, Mabel enjoyed going to public auctions, gardening, and was an avid Parcheesi board game player. |
