Ronald D. Mimm, age 76, of Quarryville, PA, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 16, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Leo V. & Blanche Eberly Mimm. He graduated from Solanco High School class of 1963. In the past he worked for American Hardware for 20 years and Yellow Freight for 20 years, with perfect attendance. He enjoyed the mountains, old cars, country music and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was very humble, always putting others before himself. John Wilson Wingler, 77, of Peach Bottom, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Born in Rising Sun, MD, he was the son of the late Ardle D. and Lora (Fogus) Wingler. He was the loving husband of Jean Tollinger Wingler for 56 years. John retired from Chrysler Corp. in Newark, DE after 33 years of employment. He enjoyed playing cards, watching Westerns, traveling, locksmithing, carpentry, and working on projects with his grandchildren and watching their sports teams and dance recitals. What John valued the most was time spent with family and friends and also taking trips to see his family from West Virginia. James L. High, 72, of Strasburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born In Lancaster, he was the son of the late Mahlon and Gladys (Mellinger) High. He was the loving husband of Cynthia M. (Breneman) High for 51 years. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and had a great passion and love for life. He loved spending time with his family, playing games, and attending the sporting events of his daughters and granddaughters. He was an active member of Willow Street Mennonite Church, and enjoyed using his time, energy and gifts to help others. He was an avid Philly sports fan and loved basketball and golf. He particularly enjoyed golfing with his sons-in-law and his weekly golf outing with friends. Jane Aukamp Zieber, 90, of 9 Marie Drive, Quarryville, entered heaven with her Lord in the afternoon of Jan. 14, 2022. She was the wife of Kenneth W. Zieber with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Abram W. and Mabel Myers Aukamp. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: daughter, Donna Deibler Smith (Charles), sons, Craig Deibler (Lisa Kronman) and R. Blake Deibler (Lisa Burkhart) all of Quarryville, and Rebecca Zieber Schwabe (Andrew) of Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam. Also surviving is a brother, Merle Aukamp of Quarryville and by 12 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren. Martin E. Langley, age 68 of Kirkwood, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
He was the husband of Gail Hecker Langley. He was born in Lancaster son of the late Harry and Ida Elma Renshaw Langley. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and archery hunting. Musselman, 88, formerly of New Providence, PA, died Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Donald Eugene White and the late Charles W. Musselman. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Hoover G. and Ella C. Bernard Morrison. A homemaker, she also owned and operated Doris’s Apparel Shop in New Providence for 27 years. Doris enjoyed doing cryptograms, hand sewing and crafts. She was a Christian and enjoyed sharing her faith by handing out Bibles. Patsy K. Harsh, 90, entered her heavenly home on January 8, 2022, at her home in New Providence. Patsy was born on July 11, 1931, in Manheim, PA to Leo and Mae Young. She was the second of five children. She graduated high school in 1949 from Manheim Central High School. A devoted wife and mother, Patsy enjoyed the many roles she filled as a homemaker. She valued the time she spent with her family and friends. Patsy enjoyed a variety of hobbies and was gifted with many talents. She was an avid stamp and doll collector, she enjoyed (scherenschnitte) German papercutting, needlepoint and painting. She loved playing the piano. She was also a master cake decorator. She loved traveling and new adventures. Noah Daniel Price, our 4-month-old angel, of Oxford, PA passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Wilmington, DE. Born in Newark, DE, he was the son of Jason D. Price and Jessica N. Rosenbaum both of Oxford. Noah loved spending time with his mommy. He loved his beanie babies and listening to Christmas music his nurses would play for him. He is survived by his mother; his father; two brothers, Layken and Kayden; and one sister, Mia; maternal grandmother, Jenice Jackson of West Chester; paternal grandmother, Lois Price of Oxford; and maternal great-grandmother, Ollie F. Hampton of Neva, TN; paternal great-grandfather, Earl Price of Rehoboth, DE. Cecil I. Walls, 84, of Ashville Road, Quarryville, PA passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Friday, January 7, 2022. He and his wife Joanne E. Daye Walls were married October 29, 1960 and celebrated 61 years of marriage. Born in Grayson County, VA he was the son of the late Clifton and Rosey Lewis Walls. He was a member of Eastland Friends Meeting where he had served as a trustee. Cecil retired from Buck Iron Foundry in 2002 where he was employed as a supervisor. Cecil served his country in the US Army as a SP4 vehicle mechanic. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing. Christopher Michael Linderman, 49, of Holtwood, entered into rest on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Atglen, he was the son of Peter Linderman, Sr. and the late Loretta (Gehman) Linderman. He was the loving husband of Tracy (Ressel) Linderman for 30 years. Chris was a heavy equipment operator for Allan Myers-Paradise Quarry. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Chris was dearly loved by his family, friends, and co-workers.
