Allison McDowell allowed one hit and struck out four to earn the win. She also added a home run and two RBIs. "Allison had good velocity with her pitches and she hit her spots well," Chad McDowell said. "Along with a solid defensive game we had an outstanding offensive game. We went 21 for 27 at the plate. We were seeing the ball really well, hitting it hard and far." The Mules clubbed five home runs and had nine extra base hits. Every player had at least one hit and one RBI for the game. "It was one of the best hitting performances I have seen from a team in several years," said Chad McDowell. "It felt good to hit the ball so well." Henretty was 3 for 3 with a home run, double, single, and two RBIs. Borcky had three hits and three RBIs. Firlein recorded three hits including a triple and drove in a run. Chew was 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Lane provided two hits and an RBI. Kayla May belted a home run and triple and knocked in three. Rambo registered two hits including a home run and had two RBIs. Frawley homered and drove in three and McDowell had a homer and two RBIs. Katelyn Dobinson delivered an RBI single.
