The Panthers prevailed 3-1 Tuesday night at Trego Field. The Rising Sun baseball team rallied from a 4-2 deficit to defeat Perryville 8-4 Tuesday afternoon at Cecil Bank Field on Bard Cameron Road.
The Tigers, who had clinched a tie for the Chesapeake Division title the day before, were down by two runs entering the home half of the fifth. Rising Sun advanced two boys singles players and three doubles teams to this week's region tournament by virtue of finishing in the top three at the Susquehanna Division tournament.
