Thomas W. "Buster" Adams, 66, of New Providence, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 surrounded by his wife and children after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Paul M. Adams and Lucille (Sheets) Thompson. He was the husband of Brenda (Wiggins) Adams, with whom he celebrated 32 years of marriage in February. "Buster", as many knew him, was a hard-working, kind man who could light up the room with his smile. There was not a person who met him that would soon forget him. He had a passion for corvettes and restoring old cars and racing them at Cecil County Dragway. Buster loved coming home from a long day of work to be greeted by his favorite four-legged kids, Munch and Lucy. On his days off, he enjoyed nice Sunday drives with Brenda or spending time with his children, extended family and friends. In addition to his wife Brenda, Buster is survived by 5 children: Melissa (Julian) Grebeleski, Thomas, II ( Amanda) Adams, Jason (Amanda) Geiger, Erin (Truman) Treffinger, and Rebecca (Ken) Mowrer; along with 14 grandchildren that he loved spending time with.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, John, Daniel and Patricia. Family and Friends are invited to a celebration of Buster's life on Pond's Edge, 162 Hopkins Mill Road, New Providence, PA on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 12-5 p.m. Memorial contributions may me made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604 or to the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Center, 2102 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601. Online guestbook at www.dewalds.com Comments are closed.
