Ruth Frances Justice, age 88, of Peach Bottom, PA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 21, 2018. Born on September 8, 1929 in Swords Creek, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Mamie Victoria (Newberry) Short. Ruth was an active member of the Oxford Church of God for over 42 years and was also active in doing missionary work. She lived for the Lord and hoped that everyone she knew was saved. She loved the Lord so much that she wanted everyone to accept the Lord as their Savior. Ruth also loved reading and flower gardening, but most of all, she loved her family. Ruth is survived by her sons: Willard A. Justice, Jr. and his wife, Sylvia, and Terry E. Justice; daughters: Patsy Frady and her husband, Larry, Brenda Aretz and her husband, Joseph, Linda G. Dalterio and her husband, Nick, Madge Sennett, Darlene Lindsey and her husband, Mike, and Donna Terry and her husband, Steve; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Justice; daughter, Janice Justice; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Oxford Church of God, 198 Barnsley Road, Oxford, PA 19363, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10am.
