Laura M. Johnson of Main St., Conestoga, died at home on Friday, November 15, 2013. She was 68. Mrs. Johnson was born in Drumore Township, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Isabel Deaver Tollinger. She worked at Herr Snack Foods, Nottingham, for 30 years before retiring. She had also worked as a waitress for the former Robert Fulton Inn. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Little Britain Presbyterian Church, the Kutztown Rod & Gun Club, and the auxiliaries of the Fleetwood Fire Co. and the Lyons Fire Co. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry D. Brooks, companion of Tim Weaver of Conestoga; two grandsons, Nathan Weaver and Devon Weaver; her companion, Roger Mumma of Fleetwood; her brother, David, husband of Jean Tollinger of Summerville, S.C.; four sisters, Martha, wife of Martin Tsudy of Lancaster, Jean, wife of John Wingler of Peach Bottom, Sara, wife of Roger DeForest Jr. of Coatesville, and Dorothy Tollinger of Lancaster; and her granddog, Casey. A sister, Grace Ann Kunkel, and a brother, George Tollinger, are deceased.
Friends may call at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, 144 E. State St., Quarryville, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, and at Little Britain Presbyterian Church, 255 Little Britain Church Rd., Peach Bottom, from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 21. Services will be held from the church at 2 p.m. on Thursday with the Rev. Thomas P. Milligan and Barbara McCardell officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O.
