Edgar F. Greenleaf of Kirkwood died at Lancaster General Hospital on August 12, 2015, following a brief battle with cancer. He was 78. Mr. Greenleaf was born and raised in Kirkwood, a son of the late C. Martin Sr. and Sadie Herr Greenleaf. He was a graduate of Solanco High School. Mr. Greenleaf held sales management positions with J.I. Case and Field Queen corporations before founding Ag-Industrial Equipment in Rising Sun, Md., in 1976. The company, now managed by his son, is now a four-dealership enterprise and one of New Holland's largest dealers.
After retiring in 2001, he pursued a lifelong love of classic cars, restoring them to show quality. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Yvonne Cramer Greenleaf; his daughter, Vicki, wife of Bruck Faulk of Los Angeles, Calif.; his son, Terry, husband of Laura Greenleaf of Kirkwood; three grandchildren, McKenna Greenleaf Faulk, Mason Faulk, Amber, wife of Ryan Hudler, and Daniel Greenleaf; two great-grandchildren, Kayden and Novella; his sister, Anna, wife of Ken Skiles of Narvon; and two brothers, J. Scott, husband of Kitty Greenleaf of Kirkwood, and C. Martin Jr., husband of Judy Greenleaf of Kirkwood. Friends may call at Union Presbyterian Church, 5637 Street Rd., Kirkwood, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18. Services will be held from the church at 11 a.m. on that date with the Rev. Scott Szabo officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Quarryville. Comments are closed.
