Benjamin B. Zook, 71, of Drumore died August 25

    Benjamin B. Zook, age 71, of 1550 River Road, Drumore, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital.
    He was the husband of Martha K. Fisher Zook.
    Born in Christiana, he was the son of the late Elam K. and Mary Beiler Zook.  Benjamin was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by 8 children: Samuel F. Zook of Peach Bottom, Susie Mae wife of John Zook of Westminster, MD, Elam F. husband of Suzanna Esh Zook, Alvin F. husband of Mary Beiler Zook, both of Drumore, Isaac F. husband of Shayna Stoots Zook of Street, MD, Barbara F. wife of Wilmer Fisher of New Providence, Mary F. wife of Samuel Smucker of Quarryville, Ruth F. Zook at home, 19 grandchildren, 4 siblings: Reuben B. husband of the late Naomi Zook of Christiana, Sylvia B. wife of Amos Stoltzfus of Millersburg, PA, Anna Mary wife of Benuel Stoltzfus of Honey Brook, John E. husband of Ruth Zook of Kirkwood and the late Sarah Zook. ​

    He was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Isaac B. late husband of Rachel wife of Samuel Zook of Christiana, Sarah B. late wife of Enos B. King of Lancaster, Barbara B. late wife of John King husband of Katie King of Loysville, PA.
    Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 27, at the late home, 1550 River Road, Drumore, at 9 a.m. EST.  Interment will be in the Drumore Amish Cemetery.  Friends may call from the time of this notice until time of service.
