Barry L. Carroll, 75, of Quarryville, passed away at home on Saturday, January 21, 2023 with family by his side. Born in East Drumore Township, he was the son of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Snyder) Carroll. He was the loving husband of Wanda (Roland) Carroll. Barry was a 1965 graduate of Solanco High School and served in the National Guard. He had worked as an auto mechanic for the former Burkholder’s Quality Cars in Willow Street. In retirement, he enjoyed repairing and selling lawn mowers. Barry also mowed grass at the Solanco Little League complex for many years and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s baseball and soccer games. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. In addition to his wife Wanda, Barry is survived by 4 children: Michelle (David) Thomas, Mark (Tara) Carroll, Mandy (Chris) Fuller and Mason (Colleen) Carroll; 9 grandchildren: Ben Thomas (Bekah), Brooke Thomas (Jake), Brady Thomas (Abby), Autumn, Aaron, and Alex Carroll, Travis Carroll, and Curtis and Cooper Fuller. Also surviving is a brother, Joe (Sally) Carroll.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Dick and Denny Carroll. Traditional interment will be private in the Quarryville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O.
