Mary K. Stoltzfus, age 49, of 5578A Street Road, Kirkwood, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Born in Bird in Hand, she was the daughter of John S. and Lydia L. King Stoltzfus. Mary was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She was preceded in death by a sister Katie K. late wife of Roy L. Stoltzfus of Kirkwood and a stillborn sister. Robert H. Ressler, 87, of Millersville, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Chestnut Level, he was the son of the late William and Helen (Harner) Ressler. He was the loving husband of Sharon (Daughton) Ressler for 61 years. Robert attended Solanco High School and went onto serve in the U.S. Army. He had worked as a press operator for New Holland Machine Co. and also New Standard Corp. Robert enjoyed quality time with his family, including regular trips to the beach and Disney World. He also enjoyed fiddle, banjo, and old country music. Constance (Connie) May Condell Street Irrgang, 85, of Oxford, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her home with her daughter and son-in-law Charlotte and Stephen Elinsky. Born on March 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Rankin and Pearl Condell. She was preceded in death by her first husband William James Street, her second husband Harry J. Irrgang, her brother George Condell, her oldest son William James Street II, and her oldest daughter April Lee Street Williams Stahl. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte May Street Elinsky, her two sons William (Bill) James Street III, and Matthew Lee Street and her two sisters Reba Smith-Velez and Grace Louise Bryant Condell, and 4 grandchildren Jenni Lee Williams, Will Michael Spina, Sierra Leone Street, and Matthew Lee Street Jr. Denise E. Waters, age 51 of New Providence, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at home. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of Betty Ann Rice Waters of New Providence and the late Maurice Waters Jr. She enjoyed doing puzzles, latch hook, watching Wrestlemania, loved animals, and spending time with family. Surviving besides her mother are 3 sisters: Dolores Waters, Diane Waters, Debra Waters companion of Ronnie Fryberger, 1 brother Demmy Rankin, and 3 nephews: Joshua, Steven, and Alex. Sandy Michael Fetty, 71, of Lincoln University, PA, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Christiana, PA. He was the loving husband of Barbara Maine Fetty with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Born in Clarksburg, WV, he was the son of the late Edward and Helen Brown Fetty. Sandy was employed as the manager at Flowserve Corporation, Philadelphia, PA for 30 years where he retired. He enjoyed his family and also photography, music, travelling and new technology. He is survived by his wife; five children, Misty Newell (David) of Justin, TX, Amanda Jackson (Phil) of Nottingham, Kara Fetty of Oxford, Kayce Brown (Chris) of Oxford and Jason Fetty (Lauryn) of Asheville, NC; 22 grandchildren; one sister, Linda Straight; and one brother, Mark Fetty. Leslie E. "Bud" Zimmerman, age 90, of Morris, PA, formerly of Gap and Coatesville, PA, passed away at the UPMC of Wellsboro, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. He was the husband of the late Dorothy L. "Red" Summers Zimmerman, who passed away on July 10, 2011, and was the companion of Annie M. Smoker Stern. He was born in Gap, son of the late Clair H. & Mildred Coates Zimmerman. He was a member of the Bellevue Presbyterian Church of Gap, PA, where in the past he was an Elder. He graduated from the former Salisbury High School. In the past he owned and operated Summer & Zim's Inc. of Atglen, where in the past he had worked with his father, brother, sons and grandsons. Bud enjoyed playing Pinochle, golf, hunting. He hated to sit still. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the Army Airborne. Ruth N. Brackbill, age 91 of Willow Street, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Norman E. Brackbill who passed away on July 24, 1985. Born in Providence Township, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Mary Anna Young Groff. She was a member of Providence Church of God. Early in her life, Ruth served as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts, Scout Troop 91. She thoroughly enjoyed her family, and often babysat for her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A homemaker for most of her life, she later retired from Exide Corporation, Lampeter, PA after 16 years of employment. On Wednesday evening, November 16, 2022, Dona L. Mylin took her last breath peacefully and stepped into eternity into her arms of her loving Savior Jesus Christ. She had just celebrated her 82nd birthday less than a week before! Dona was the loving wife of the late Holmes R. Mylin, who she was married to for 49 years. She was a beautician by trade and served many clients, friends, family, and neighbors with hair skills! Dona was a graduate of J.P.McCaskey High School, and the Empire Beauty School. She volunteered at numerous places such as Water Street Mission and the Lancaster County Jail! She was a strong follower of Jesus Christ. By definition she was a servant by heart. Kyle E. Parsons, Sr., 81, of Oxford, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Born in Washington County, VA on December 20, 1940, he was the son of the late Smith and Callie May Childress Parsons. Kyle retired from Frezzo Brothers, Avondale as a truck driver. He loved western movies and especially his grandchildren. He is survived by two sons, James D. Parsons (Grace), and Kyle E. Parsons, Jr. all of Oxford; one daughter, Glenda Rosemary “Rosie” Rodriguez (Julio) of Nottingham; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Charles E. Parsons of VA; several nieces and nephews. Eugene M. “Gene” Kibler, 83, of Central Manor, entered his home in Heaven on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Alice A. (Walter) Kibler, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Washington Boro, he was the son of Charles Oliver and Martha Mae (Mellinger) Kibler. Gene was a graduate of Penn Manor High School, class of 1956. Following high school, Gene found employment with Funk Brothers, Inc. and became a supervisor. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a supervisor with B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. Always keeping busy, Gene spent many years working part-time as a support person for a local funeral home. Gene was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army from 1961 – 1967. |
