Knocker ball will be among the games offered at the annual SECA Fest this Saturday.
The game involves large inflatable balls; participants wear the balls, which are supported by shoulder straps and have handles inside. They can use the balls to perform acrobatics or compete with each other.
There will also be a selection of inflatable games, including an obstacle course, a slide, laser tag, a log slammer, a grand prix, and a bounce house.
Participants can exchange tickets for the game. Most of the inflatables require two tickets; laser tag and the log slammer require three tickets.
Tickets will be sold at the event. The regular price is $1 per ticket; there is a discount price of 15 tickets for $10 from 4 to 5 p.m.
Food will also be available for purchase.
Among the food vendors already signed up are Sam and Joe's Gyros, Shorty's Funnel Cake, Auntie Anne’s, Authentic Italian Ice, and Schatz Ice Cream.
The Wakefield Lions will also be selling food.
There will also be other vendors selling items and the pool will be open during SECA Fest.
The celebration will be held in Quarryville's Memorial Park, Park Ave., from 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 6. There will be fireworks at 10:15 p.m. Admission and parking are free. SECA Fest will be held rain or shine.
