State police have a suspect in the robbery of Singing Spring Foods, 810 S. Vintage Rd., Bart Township, Trooper Anthony Urban reported.
According to the trooper, the suspect entered the store at 7:05 a.m. on April 23 and ordered the cashier to empty the register.
The suspect is a middle-aged blonde woman who was wearing a flowered pattern shirt. Police did not say if the woman showed a weapon.
The suspect fled without about $200 in cash, Trooper Urban said.
State police also reported the following incidents in the Southern End:
BURGLARY - A 25-year-old man from Airville stole a Stihl chainsaw from a barn at 1451 Harmony Ridge Rd. on the night of March 23, Trooper Kurt Yannelli reported. The burglar then took the saw to a pawn shop in Maryland where he was identified.
Police then contacted the man who admitted taking the saw. Charges will be filed. Police did not identify the suspect.
EAST DRUMORE TOWNSHIP
COLLISION - There were no injuries in a one-car collision on Puseyville Rd. at 8:07 a.m. on April 22, Trooper Kyle Laskoskie reported. According to the trooper, Charles J. Johnson, 34, of Peach Bottom, was driving east when a passing pickup caused him to swerve to avoid a collision. Johnson's Mercury Milan ran off the road and hit a tree.
Johnson was not injured and was not cited for the collision, the trooper said.
STRANGULATION - A 38-year-old man from Providence Township has been charged with strangulation following a domestic incident in the 200 block of Black Barren Rd. at 5:26 p.m. on April 9, Trooper Nolen McElwee reported. The trooper did not identify the suspect or the victim, a 32-year-old woman.
LITTLE BRITAIN TOWNSHIP
THREATS - A township resident reported her boyfriend had made threatening statements toward her, Trooper Nolen McElwee reported. The incident occurred on April 17, the trooper said.
BURGLARY - A burglar tried to get into the house at 237 House Rock Rd. at 8:40 a.m. on April 18, Trooper Adam Hartzell reported. The would-be thief attempted to ender the home through the sliding window above the kitchen sink but did not get in to the house, Trooper Urban said.
BURGLARY - Someone got into the home at 75 Den Mar Dr. between 6:38 and 11:41 a.m. on April 18, Trooper Adam Hartzell reported. Once inside, the burglar rummaged through the property and stole multiple items from a purse, the trooper said.
THEFT - Someone stole a wooden farm sign reading Gobbler's Nob from the property at 773 Georgetown Rd. on the night of April 24, Trooper Anthony Urban reported.
VANDALISM - Someone spray painted a mailbox and two road signs in the 900 block of Pennsy Rd. on the night of April 20, Trooper Nolen McElwere reported.
