Steven S. Stoltzfus, 15, of Green Ln. was killed in an accident on the family farm on Green Ln., Little Britain Township, on Tuesday afternoon, April 30.
According to police, Stoltzfus was getting ready to work a field and was hooking a 21-foot-long pipe to a mule. The mule spooked and started running toward Green Ln. Stoltzfus ran to catch the mul. When the mule turned back to the farm, the pipe hit a guardrail, broke the chain, and hit Stoltzfus.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

EAST DRUMORE TOWNSHIP
COLLISION - There were no injuries in a one-vehicle collision on Clearview Dr. at 6:33 p.m. on April 18, Trooper Andrew Hertzog reported.
According to the trooper, Jathanel A. Collins, 20, of Gettysburg, was driving east when he began to lose control of the 2013 Chevrolet pickup. The truck pulled to the side of the road as the right front wheel sheared off. The wheel rolled about 500 feet into a farm field before stopping; the truck collided with a utility pole.
Collins was not cited for the collision.
THEFT - A 1993 Ford Festiva was stolen from a business at 161 Oak Bottom Rd. and recovered in Cecil County, Md., on April 24, Trooper Nolen McElwee reported.
THEFT - Justin Emile Eisenberger, 37, of Pequea, was charged with theft for allegedly stealing two welders and a generator from his father between March 1 and 31, Trooper Trevor Gauntlett reported. The theft occurred at 117 Lancaster Pike North.
CHARGED - Quarryville police are looking for Jose Luis Declet Jr. Borough police allege Declet assaulted his girlfriend at a home in the 100 block of S. Hess St. on Wednesday, April 24.
Police said Decelt choked her, threatened to slice her throat with a razor blade, and threatened to hit her in the head with a metal baseball bat.
Declet fled before police arrived.
The suspect is charged with strangulation, terroristic threats, and stalking. Anyone with information about Declet should call police at 717-786-3121 or Lancaster Crime Stoppers at 800-322-1913.
COLLISION - Paul M. Schober, 43, of New Providence, was cited following a one-car collision on Beaver Valley Pike near Walnut Run Rd. at 2:04 a.m. on April 27, Trooper Trevor Gauntlett reported.
According to the trooper, Schober was driving south when his car hit a PennDOT warning sign, went off the road and through a lawn, and collided with a stone wall. Schober fled the scene before police arrived, the trooper said.
