Police have arrested the suspect in yesterday's triple shooting at an Elkton home.
Tyree Naquand Pollard, 25, of the unit block of Regal Court, Newark, Delaware, was apprehended by the Newark Police Department after they responded to a suspicious person complaint on South College Avenue.
The Newark Police Department identified the suspect and took him into custody. A warrant check revealed that he also had outstanding warrants in Delaware and through the Elkon Police Department. The suspect is being held in Delaware pending extradition to Maryland.
The three shooting victims were identified as a 21-year old male from Elkton, a 21-year old female from Glen Burnie, and a 21-year old male from Newark.
The investigation revealed that the victims were familiar with the suspect. The victims stated that all of the subjects were downstairs watching television when the suspect began shooting after being told to lower his voice. Investigators are still investigating the motive associated with the shooting.
It is believed that all three victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.
