"We knew going into this meet we would be resting some of our athletes due to the L-S Relays two days after the meet," Mules coach Jennifer McDowell said. "With Cocalico typically strong in throws, we knew that we would have to beat them on the track. We relied on several athletes to step up and take the lead in many races and they really pulled through and took places that I didn't expect."
The league meet will be held May 9.
