Host C. Milton Wright swept the Chesapeake Division track and field meet Tuesday. The Mustangs (158) claimed the girls competition over Perryville (145.5), Harford Tech (71.83), Aberdeen (56), Bel Air (55.33), Edgewood (49), and Bohemia Manor (18.33). Brooke Doane paced the Panthers by winning the long jump and placing second in both the triple jump and 800. Hailey McDonald captured the high jump and placed second in the pole vault which was won by teammate Paiton Kelly. Kelly set a PR by clearing 9-0. McDonald also cleared 9-0 but had one miss while Kelly did not.
Sierra Montz was second in both the 300 hurdles and long jump and third in both the triple jump and high hurdles. Teri Wennertsen was second behind McDonald in the high jump. Autumn Estep finished third in the 800 and fourth in the 400. Alysa Conway finished fourth in the 100, 200, and 400. In the boys competition, C. Milton Wright (131.5) topped Bel Air (96.5), Perryville (88), Edgewood (79), Aberdeen (69), Bohemia Manor (61), and Harford Tech (28). TyRell Hollingsworth won the triple jump and was second in the high jump. He qualified for the finals of both the 100 and 200 but did not compete because of a minor injury. Corban Porch picked up a win in the high jump and was third in the pole vault. Toby DiMauro (high hurdles) and Ben Kuhn (discus) each earned a second place finish. Bohemia Manor's Justin Pritchett (high jump) and Alex Lafountaine (long jump) each recorded an individual victory. Comments are closed.
