Emma Cease of Rising Sun and Elkton's Cameron Spaeth won the the individual races and the Tiger girls and Perryville boys took the team titles at the Susquehanna Division cross country meet Tuesday, October 2, at Perryville Community Park. Cease covered the relatively flat course in a time of 20:43, nine seconds faster than teammate Heather Horst. Elkton runners Sadie Marra, Venus Abosede, and Esther Greenblatt occupied the 3-5 spots. Aberdeen's Taylor Miller was sixth followed by Rising Sun's Hannah Matthews, North East's Brooke Ayers, Rising Sun's Emilie Marsinko, and Perryville's Gabriella Scramlin.
In the team standings, the Tigers (28) defeated Elkton (47), Perryville (67), and North East (71). In the boys competition, Perryville placed its seven runners in the top 15 positions.
