Jackie Barbon and Jillian Seay each scored a pair of goals. Barbon had both of her team's first half goals for the second straight game. The Perryville field hockey team lost 2-1 to visiting C. Milton Wright Tuesday, October 20.

Joppatowne pounded the Panthers 6-1 last Thursday afternoon. Rising Sun's volleyball team remained undefeated with a sweep of visiting Perryville last Wednesday afternoon.
The Tigers triumphed 25-14, 25-18, 25-8. Rising Sun led the third game 8-7 before scoring 15 straight points behind the serving of Lacey Swartout, who had seven aces in the run. Swartout also recorded eight kills. The Rising Sun boys soccer team lost 4-1 to host Aberdeen Tuesday evening.
Trailing 2-0, the Tigers got back in the game on a Bryan Butler goal in the 63rd minute. Brad Alexander drew a foul outside the top of the box 25 yards out. Kane Watson blasted a shot. Eagles goalie Anthony Cuellar made the initial save, but Butler pounced on the rebound to put Rising Sun on the board. |
