Stanley H. Jackson, 84, of Quarryville, entered into rest on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Conestoga View. Born in Glyndon, Maryland, he was the son of the late Benjamin H., and Frances W. (Gill) Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rhoda (Feight) Jackson. Stan was an entrepreneur at heart, having started many businesses throughout his life. He had also been in manufactured home sales for many years, most recently working for Patriot Homes. Stan had attended Colerain Baptist Church and also St. Paul’s Church in Quarryville. He had proudly served in the U.S. Army. Stan was a member of the Quarryville Rotary and was also active in local fast-pitch softball leagues. In addition to his wife, Stanley is survived by 2 children: Tim, husband of Kathy Jackson of Quarryville; and Penny Jackson of Belcamp, MD; 6 grandchildren: Lucas, Wyatt, Caleb, Connor, Jordan, and Ryan; 3 brothers: Larry Jackson, Jerry Jackson, and Mark Jackson and 3 sisters: Berdell Ayres, Janice Gittere, and Beverly Vaeth. A celebration of Stanley’s life will take place at St. Paul’s Church, 1 W. 4th St., Quarryville, PA on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 a.m.
The family will greet friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
