Paul J. Reinhart, 91, of Ronks, PA, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Born in Kirkwood, PA he was the son of the late Forest H. and Ida M. (Rice) Reinhart. Paul and his wife, Kay M. (Rice) Reinhart were married on December 28, 1950 and would have celebrated 67 years of marriage on Thursday. Paul retired from Alcoa after working 33 years as a tow motor operator. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, where he served several terms as a Deacon. Paul enjoyed working in his yard and garden, but the thing he loved most was spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife Kay is a son, Michael P. Reinhart of Mountville; a daughter, Jeanette R., wife of Scott Tanguy of New Providence; grandchildren: Joelle T. and her husband Christopher Eyster and Jarid K. Tanguy along with a brother, Forest H. Reinhart, Jr. Paul was preceded in death by a son, Curtis E. Reinhart, brothers: Park, William, Donald and George, and sisters, Irene and Faye.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, January 2, 2018 at Dewald Funeral & Cremation Services, 227 W. 4th St., Quarryville, PA from 6:30 until 8:00 pm. There will be a Celebration of Paul’s Life on Wednesday, January 3rd at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1199 Valley Rd., Quarryville, beginning at 11:00 am. There will not be a visitation prior to the service, but friends will have an opportunity to greet the family on Wednesday immediately following the service. Traditional interment will be private in the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers; contributions may be made to the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church at the above address.
