Park A. Reinhart, 88, of Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community and formerly Kirkwood, entered into rest on Monday, April 27, 2015. Born in Kirkwood he was a son of the late Forest H. and Ida M. (Rice) Reinhart. His wife, Pauline V. (Herr) Reinhart, a daughter Karen R. Asper, brothers Donald and George along with sisters Irene Wanner and Faye Lefever all preceded him in death. Park worked and retired from Edgar M. Herr Company as a milk truck driver. He was a member of the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, a life member of the Slumbering Groundhog Lodge, a life member of International Order of Odd Fellows #544 of Kirkwood and later when it merged with lodge #361 of Strasburg, and also a prior member of Quarryville Rod & Gun Club. In his spare Park enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He is survived by a son, Larry D. husband of Peggy Reinhart of Lancaster; a daughter Sheila R. wife of G. Scott Mull of Quarryville; grandchildren: Mark, Scott, Amy, Keith, Becky, and Brian along with 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers; Park’s twin, Paul J. along with Forest H. Jr. and William G. Reinhart.
Services celebrating Park’s life will take place in the Ellingsworth Auditorium of Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, 625 Robert Fulton Hwy., Quarryville, PA on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a public viewing on Thursday evening at Dewald Funeral & Cremation Services, 227 W. 4th St. in Quarryville from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Friends may also visit with the family on Friday, immediately following the services. A private interment for the family will take place prior to the service in the Quarryville Cemetery.
