Cierra Catherine Lee Nelson, age 21, of Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania was taken from us unexpectedly on October 22, 2017. She was born on August 16, 1996 in Colville, Washington to Cassie and Matt Nelson, and graduated from Solanco High School in 2015. Cierra was a spirited, dynamic young woman who had a knack for touching your heart and leaving an impression on everyone she encountered. She was dreaming big and working hard, passionate about helping others and pursuing a better life for herself and her daughter. Cierra was a loving, dedicated mother who adored spending quality time with her best friend and daughter, Riley, as well as making fabulous memories with friends and family. She worked at Keystone Human Services as a Rehabilitation Specialist, devoting her efforts to providing support and teaching life skills to her clients. Cierra touched many lives and leaves behind a huge hole in our hearts.
In addition to her many parents, she is survived by her daughter Riley Gene Borror; maternal grandfather John Nelson, mother Cindy Frey; sister Cleary Wright; parents “Mister and Mrs.” Dave and Sandy Irby, little brothers David and Jaret Irby and Justin Brown; spiritual parents Kevin and Kim Johnson, big sister Sara Johnson; many great aunts, uncles, cousins and far too many friends to list. A celebration of Cierra’s life will take place at Wesley Church, 1104 Kirkwood Pike, Quarryville, Pennsylvania on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Blake Deibler officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2-3:00 PM. All are welcome to attend and share the memories of our precious girl.
