Kenneth C. Gochenaur, age 92, died peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, April 6, 2019 He served as an air operations specialist in the Army and skipper of a crash boat in Guam during WWII. He was born in Manheim, the son of the late Ross H. and Florence Showalter Gochenaur. He was the husband of the late Ijunia Gochenaur who died in 2009. He is survived by 2 sons Richard K. married to Kathy (Rapp) Gochenaur and Timothy R.Gochenaur; 2 grandchildren, Ross married to Corinne (Martin) Gochenaur and Michelle (Gochenaur) married to Jeffrey Williams; and 10 great grandchildren. Ken’s faith in Christ as his Savior was foremost. He loved his family, the outdoors, and all animals except cats. He was a master horseman and stable master for many years at Host Resort.
He was president of June Hollow Camp for decades. His memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 2:00PM at Paradise Bible Fellowship Church, 3092 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA.
