James W. Vaughan, Sr, 61 of Peach Bottom, PA, passed away on September 26, 2017. He was the husband of Brenda Fisher Vaughan. They had celebrated 41 years of marriage. Born in West Grove, PA, a son of Edward Vaughan, Sr, Nottingham, and the late Helen Keys Vaughan. Jim had worked in sales in the oil industry. He had been a VP with Walker Oil, where he had worked for over 20 years. Jim was a faithful member of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time in his garage working, and especially time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Brenda, and his father, he is survived by 2 children, James W. Vaughan, Jr (Jennifer), Reidsville, NC, Angela Aukamp (Matthew, Sr.), Pequea, 4 grandchildren; siblings, Edward Vaughan Jr, Nottingham, Sandy Shephard, Port Deposit MD, Theodore Vaughan, North East, MD, and Betty Portwood, Coconut Creek, FL.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, September 29, 12 Noon, at Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, 303 W. Christine Road, Nottingham, PA. Viewing will be held at the church Friday from 9:00 AM until 12 Noon. Burial in Nottingham Missionary Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, att. James Vaughan, to help defer the burden of the medical expense the family has incurred.
