Evelyn B. Crider, 84, of Little Britain, died Friday, June 28 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community
Evelyn B. Crider, 84, of Little Britain, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.
Born in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late J. Marlin and Marie Louise (Landis) Burkholder. She was the loving wife of Fred Crider for over 65 years.
Evelyn’s love for the Lord was obvious to those that knew her. She led several women’s Bible studies out of her home. She also operated Little Britain Manor Bed and Breakfast for many years as well as helping her husband on the family farm.
In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 children: Allan, husband of Barb Crider of Minnesota; Diane, wife of Dr. Kevin Lorah of Hershey; and Dr. Debra, wife of Dr. David Lawrence of Connecticut. She was preceded in death by a son, Rick Crider. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 2 sisters.
Funeral Services will take place at Faith Reformed Presbyterian Church, 611 Robert Fulton Hwy, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a visitation at the church from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Private interment will take place in the Quarryville Cemetery.
