Doris June Myers, 89, formerly of Willow Street, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. She was the loving wife of the late George W. Myers, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2007. Born in Little Britain, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Estella J. (Ritchey) Hess. June was employed by and retired from, The Hamilton Watch Company. June was an active member of Church of the Apostles U.C.C., assisting in various activities. She was compassionate about helping local Cambodian refugees, assisting them to rebuild their lives. She had a love for yard sales and auctions, where she collected unique and valuable antiques which she enjoyed displaying in her home. June enjoyed fishing with her husband George, and traveling together on bus trips throughout the United States.
June is the last of her immediate family and is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Eastland Friends Burial Grounds, 10 Friends Road, Nottingham (Little Britain), PA 19362.
