Carl A. McFadden, Sr., 77, of Robert Fulton Highway, Peach Bottom, PA died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy, PA. ' He and his wife, Ruth Ann McNamee McFadden celebrated 58 years of marriage. Born in West Grove, PA, he was the son of the late Carl Ewin and Mildred Alice Pinkerton McFadden. Carl was a retired truck driver and in retirement he was an Amish Taxi driver. His enjoyments were spending time with his family, horses, and trucks. He was a member of the Ocklokonee Tribe, Improved Order Red Men Lodge #212, Oxford, PA. Surviving beside his wife Ruth are 6 children, Carl A. (Mary) McFadden, Jr. of Rising Sun, MD, Bonnie J. (Bill) Graham of Nottingham, Patricia C. (Kevin) Brown of Wakefield, Michael A. (Tammy) McFadden of Quarryville, Kenneth P. (Bobbie) McFadden of Quarryville, Edward R. (companion Lynn) McFadden, Peach Bottom; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert (Vicki) McFadden of Nashville, John (Hallie) McFadden of NM; a sister Nancy (Harold) Hughes of McVeytown.
He was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren Edward R. McFadden, Jr. and Jessica R. McFadden. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00PM at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA. Interment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
