Timothy Lee McGill of North East died Saturday, March 19, 2016. He was 63. He was born in Champaign, Ill., on August 30, 1952. Mr. McGill served in the U.S. Army. He attended the Florida Institute of Technology. He worked as a contractor. Mr. McGill was a member of North East United Methodist Church. He enjoyed boating, kayaking, woodworking, diving, music, the beach, and taking trips with his family. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne “Sue” (Carlon) McGill; a daughter, London P. McGill (Richie Huffstutler) of Port Deposit, and a son, T. Keaton McGill of North East; his father, Raymond Edward McGill of Winston, Ga.; a sister, Kelly McGill (Dale) of Villa Rica, Ga. and four brothers, Terry McGill (Pam) of Hallandale, Fla., Edward McGill (Priscilla) of Douglasville, Ga., Glenn McGill of Douglasville, Ga. and Kevin McGill (Christy) of Douglasville, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Josephine (Barrette) McGill and his brother, Daniel McGill Memorial services, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha, will be held Saturday, April 16, at 2 p.m. at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, where the family will receive guests beginning at 1 p.m. until service time.
