Thomas Ray Trimble of North East died Sunday, May 22, 2016 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton. He was 54. He was born in Ohio on June 14, 1961. Mr. Trimble worked at Perryville Cold Storage as a material handler/forklift operator. He was a member of Mount Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, where he was a music leader and very active in his church. He was a very caring, compassionate person, who always put the needs of his wife and family before his own. He enjoyed spending time with his children, and especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Trimble gathered his strength from the authority of God’s word. Everything he did was to glorify God. “Love the people God gave you because he will need them back one day.” He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Barbara Trimble; his parents, Robert and Nancy (Terrell) Trimble, of Montevallo, Ala.; his stepchildren, Beth Bennett (Bruce) of Bedford, Ind., Molly Montney (Frederick IV) of Colora, Brad Heath of Cecilton; and a brother, Tim Trimble (Rhoda) of Pelham, Ala.; a sister, Teresa Howdon (Allan) of Canada; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 27, at 5 p.m. at Mount Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, 1413 Cranberry Road, Aberdeen, where the family will receive guests beginning at 4 p.m. until service time. Burial will be Saturday, May 28, at 10 a.m. in North East Methodist Cemetery.
