Sundee Elizabeth Nutter, of North East, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Mercy Medical Center, Baltimore. She was 49. She was born in Baltimore, on July 23, 1967. Sundee started her career as a Dispatcher with the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office and continued as a Police Communication Officer with the Department of Emergency Services. A member of the Christian Motorcycle Assoc. and Crossroads Bible Church, she enjoyed quilting, was an avid photographer and an awesome cook. Most of all Sundee loved her family, godchildren and all those she considered family, her friends, coworkers and emergency responders she guided daily. Survivors include her loving husband: Kevin R. Nutter; parents: William and Judy Kidd Dunbar, of Dublin; one brother: Lee D. Dunbar and his wife, Stephanie of Bel Air; a nephew: Mitchell Dunbar; two godchildren: Sarah Doyle and Patrick Neal; many other nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Banjo.
Funeral services, conducted by her pastor, Dr. Timothy Britton were held Monday, July 17, 2017 at noon at Crossroads Bible Church, 144 Appleton Road, Elkton, MD. Visitation was held prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. Burial followed in Union Cemetery, Elkton, MD. Sundee's wishes were for contributions to be made to Crossroads Bible Church, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD 21901. Flowers are also most welcome.
